Live as free people,
yet without using
your freedom as a
pretext for evil;
but live as servants
of God.

HOME
The ruins can still be found on the map.
Piddingworth, once a farmer's cottage, is near the Ditchling Road,
on Stanmer Farm in  East Sussex.
It is also much more than a clump of stones.

This old place was once the home of my West family,
in which lived my grandmother, Rose, with her mother and father, brothers and sisters in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
They cultivated a life in the rich English soil of the Sussex Downs where, in the midst of their labour and inordinate suffering,
they were sustained both by the strength of their Christian faith
as well as their deeply-rooted British character.

This legacy, quietly lived and passed on to me by their example,
is the inspiration for this site devoted to celebrating and advancing
that cultural and religious heritage in this generation.

You are especially invited to share in this on-going mission
where I hope you will find both, some inspiration as well as
useful resources.

Welcome.
